For High School Students

Colorado Applies Month (CAM) connects with My Colorado Journey (MCJ) to guide you through selecting an education or training option that’s best for you – from applying to a program to help getting financial aid.

What will I do during CAM?

You will participate in self-guided activities to gain insight and create an action plan! My Colorado Journey will assist you as you explore potential career pathways, chart possible growth areas for the future, and outline the steps to take now to get started on your future.

High School Seniors

After you have logged into My Colorado Journey, you will choose select the Outcome titled My 12th-Grade Colorado Applies Month. This outcome will help you through the application process as you complete the following Goals.

Careers exploration and identifying key trends

WEEK 1

Overview of after-graduation options

WEEK 2

Explore possibilities (occupational/technical schools, two-year or four-year colleges and universities, apprenticeships, military service, direct to work, taking a “gap” year) and learn about transferring credits.

Find a program(s) that prepares me for my career choice

WEEK 3

Complete preparing for my application(s)

WEEK 4

Find and apply for my financial aid

WEEK 5
Beginning October 1, submit your FAFSA or CASFA application.
